Salads : Garden Coleslaw
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 green or red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 zucchini, shredded
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Combine mayonnaise, honey, lemon juice, lemon peel (if desired), TABASCO® Green Sauce, salt, and ginger in a large bowl and stir until blended. Add cabbage, bell pepper, carrot, zucchini, and green onions and mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors.
Makes 6 servings.
