Mexican : Macho Nachos

  • 2 (16-ounce) cans refried beans
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
  • 1 (16-ounce) bag tortilla chips
  • 1 (12-ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese (about 3 cups)
  • Guacamole
  • Sour cream

Combine beans, tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, garlic, and TABASCO® Sauce in a large bowl and stir until well blended. Divide tortilla chips among six oven-safe platters. Spoon a scant 1 cup bean mixture over each platter of tortillas and sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.

Place platters in a 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with guacamole, sour cream, and additional TABASCO® Sauce.

Makes 6 servings.
