American : Spicy Grilled Beef Kebabs
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
- 1 tablespoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
Combine dry seasonings in a small bowl and sprinkle over ground beef; add onion, mint, and TABASCO® Sauce and mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour.
Preheat grill to medium heat. Shape beef mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and thread onto six skewers; flatten meatballs slightly. Grill 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness.
Makes 6 servings. This recipe is low in carbohydrates.
