Mexican : Grilled Pork Chops with Mango-Black Bean Salsa
Salsa:Pork Chops:
- 4 (4-ounce) boneless pork center loin chops, all fat trimmed
- 1 tablespoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
For salsa, combine mango, beans, onion, cilantro, lime juice, TABASCO® Sauce and salt in a medium bowl; toss gently until well blended.
Preheat grill to medium heat. Pat chops dry with paper towels. In a small bowl stir together TABASCO® Sauce, salt, pepper, cumin, allspice, and oregano to make a paste; rub mixture evenly on both sides of chops. Grill chops over direct heat until browned and just done, about 3 to 5 minutes per side. Serve with salsa.
Makes 4 servings. This recipe is low in fat.
