Shrimp : Marinated Shrimp Kabobs
- 3 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons ground cayenne
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled, with tails intact
Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until well blended, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly; cool to room temperature. Place shrimp in medium bowl, add marinade; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
Preheat grill to medium-high. Drain shrimp, reserving marinade. Thread marinated shrimp onto skewers. Grill until cooked through, about 5 minutes, turning once. Meanwhile, pour reserved marinade into a small saucepan and simmer 5 minutes; brush on shrimp before removing from grill.
