TABASCO® Guy Food Recipes Requirements

Instructions

Microsoft Windows 2000/XP

  1. Download 'Guy Food Recipes' and save to Desktop.
  2. Plug iPod into computer and open iTunes.
  3. In iTunes, go to Preferences, then iPod menu. Click 'Enable Disk Use'. Click 'OK'.
  4. Go to MY COMPUTER and click removable iPod drive, and locate 'Notes' folder.
  5. On Desktop, double click 'Guy Food Recipes' icon. See 'Guy Food Recipes' folder. Drag 'Guy Foods Recipes' folder into 'Notes' folder on iPod.
  6. Once files have finished copying, click the eject button next to your iPod icon in the iTunes Source list, then disconnect your iPod from your computer. (You may want to turn off 'Enable Disk Use' after installing the iPod application. Enabling Disk Use causes the iPod to pause while mounting and has to be manually dismounted by the user when the user is through syncing files or recharging the iPod.)
  7. To view recipes on your iPod, select Extras > Notes > Guy Food Recipes.

MAC OS X

  1. Download 'Guy Food Recipes' and save to Desktop.
  2. Plug iPod into computer and open iTunes.
  3. In iTunes, go to Preferences. Click the iPod tab, then click the Music tab in the iPod pane. Click 'Enable Disk Use'. Click 'OK'.
  4. When iPod shows up on desktop, double click iPod. See 'Notes' folder.
  5. Double click 'Guy Food Recipes' icon. See 'Guy Food Recipes' folder. Drag 'Guy Foods Recipes' folder into 'Notes' folder on iPod.
  6. Once files have finished copying, eject your iPod by selecting the iPod on the desktop and dragging it to the Trash.
  7. To view recipes on your iPod, select Extras > Notes > Guy Food Recipes.

IMPORTANT:

Do not attempt to open the recipe files on your computer (Mac or PC) as it will alter the file format and will affect the functionality of the recipe application. Attempting to open the files may create irregular character in the application.

Apple iPod has a note limitation of 1000 notes. Each recipe constitutes one note. If you exceed the 1000 note limit, your application may not function properly. The more notes you have on your Apple iPod, the longer it will take to load ALL of the notes in the “Notes” directory.
