Cooking at college:
A survival guide
Well, it's the beginning of another school year, and if you're a freshman headed off to college (or even if you're an upperclassman), we've got some tips and ideas on how you can make it through the semester without mom's home-cooked meals.
Whether it's a 'no-cook' dish, or something you can throw
together in a hot pot, nuke in a microwave, or heat up in
the community oven, all it takes is a few splashes of TABASCO
brand Pepper Sauce to add big flavor. Even if you've never
so much as boiled water, you'll be able to follow these simple
recipes we've put together for you. They're quick and easy,
taste great and tackle your biggest college dilemmas: breakfast
on the run, afternoon snacks and late-night munchies.
It
doesn't take up much space in a small kitchen or dorm room,
but TABASCO
Sauce sure livens up fast food favorites, too. So if the
delivery guy doesn't bring TABASCO® Sauce with
your pizza, besure to keep a stash to splash on. And while
you're at it, don't forget to dash it on burgers, nachos,
and sandwiches, too.
If all else fails and you're stuck with a meal card at the cafeteria from hell, sneak a bottle in with you. At least you can use it to douse the tuna surprise.
