Does the heat level vary among batches of Original TABASCO^® brand Pepper Sauce?

We analyze every batch of TABASCO^® brand Pepper Sauce for heat level. It is tested in our Quality Control laboratory and must meet set specifications prior to being bottled. Since TABASCO^® brand Pepper Sauce is an all natural product, we see variations in the heat level of peppers harvested for sauce manufacturing. This is due to varying weather conditions. However, due to the way the sauce is manufactured, the variation in the heat level of the final product is minimized.
